The Big Tent

This weekend, we’re heading across the Forth to The Big Tent Festival in Falkland, Fife.

Billed as Scotland’s Environmental Festival, I’m hoping it’s going to be the place in 2010 to find the latest in green living as well as local handmade craft.

Our fairtrade friends at The Green Gift Company will be pitching up in The Market Place and there’s an interesting music programme.

On Saturday, don’t miss award-winning, Scottish jazz-soul vocalist Niki King who oozes presence, soul and charisma. On Sunday, Edinburgh band Aberfeldy will play their slightly folky, acoustically orientated music. My top tips … Aberfeldy is on the CD player now, very smoothe.
